Volunteer
AISD requires that all volunteers must complete the following in order to volunteer with students in an unsupervised setting (i.e. read aloud or driving for a field trip.) Please make sure you have completed the 4 steps below. If you are not sure, ask your child's teacher if you are on the list of approved volunteers.
- Complete the AISD Confidentiality and Access Agreement
- Review the Guidelines for Non-Teacher Supervision of Students. Then please print out and sign this document. This page talks about attending a training, but if you have gone through the Powerpoint in step 2 you do not have to attend a training.
- Bring the signed document from step 2 to the Casis Office, and ask the staff to please scan your driver's license.
- Background check: here is the link to do you background check. You will receive an email when you are approved.
Cafeteria and Playground Volunteers
